Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Agreement
By creating an account or using Forge AI you agree to these terms. If you use Forge AI for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Forge AI provides software tools for electrician businesses — including customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, calendar, tasks, certificate drafts/PDFs, and an AI assistant that produces drafts for you to review. Features depend on your plan. We may change, add or withdraw features with reasonable notice where practical.
Forge AI is not an electrical contractor, insurer, accredited certification body, or law firm. Outputs (including AI drafts and certificate PDFs) are tools for your own professional judgement. You remain responsible for compliance with BS 7671, building regulations, scheme rules, tax, and consumer law that apply to your work.
Accounts
Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe access has been compromised. We may suspend accounts that pose a security risk or abuse the service.
Your content
You retain ownership of the business data you enter. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that data solely to provide and secure the service. You must not upload unlawful content or material you do not have rights to use. Customer portal and quote links you share are under your control — treat tokens as sensitive.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed via Stripe according to the pricing shown at signup or in Settings. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled. Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled case-by-case; chargebacks may lead to suspension. Manage or cancel subscriptions from Settings → Billing (Stripe customer portal) where available.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass security, probe other users' data, overload the service, reverse engineer except where allowed by law, or use Forge AI to send spam or unlawful communications. AI features must not be used to generate content you present as independently verified inspection results without proper testing and competence.
Availability and support
We aim for good uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via the support page. Paid plans may receive priority handling where advertised — that is not a service-level guarantee unless separately agreed in writing.
Liability
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for loss of profits, indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on AI drafts or document templates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Our aggregate liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Forge AI in that period (or £100 if greater and you are on a free plan).
Termination
You may stop using Forge AI and delete your account from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms or non-payment. After deletion, workspace data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy; some billing records may remain with Stripe.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers who qualify under mandatory local law may bring claims in their local courts.
